  • There are many signs including dizziness, hearing loss in one or both ears, a loss of balance, ear ringing, nausea/vomiting, and even simply having difficulties focusing your eyes.

  • Initial causes can be an injury to the neck which causes a mixed signal going to the brain where the neck says the head is positioned one way but the eyes and ears are giving off a different signal. You can think of is much the same as sea sickness on a boat. The cervical spine may be considered the cause of the dizziness when all other potential causes of dizziness are excluded… this is known as cervicogenic vertigo.
